Safety labels are probably not the first thing you think of when it comes to the "style" of your product. You might debate the color you want to use, what types of wheel rims to put on it or the upholstery to use on the seating.  But how often does your team spend time on debating the effectiveness and quality of your safety labels on your products?

Here are a few reasons why your team might want to consider discussing the "style" of your labels in your next meeting:


Warn users of danger

Many different people with different levels of experience are in the field using the products that are rolled out of manufacturers on a daily basis. Regardless of whether it is residential or commercial, providing safety information about the product is critical to safe operation. Many accidents can be prevented with the use of safety labels and placing them in the appropriate places for the user to observe.


Prevent litigation 

The lack of warning on your product can ultimately result in your company facing legal suits due to injury that could have been prevented with a safety label. Safety labels should comply with ANSI standards, be placed in appropriate places where operators will see them and be durable enough to withstand the conditions in which the equipment is used. If there is no label to be seen, it cannot protect the end user or your company from litigation.


Promote your brand

You've manufactured a quality product. The last thing you want is for a label to start peeling or fading and taking away from the aesthetics of it. While safety labels are important to protect operators and your company, branding decals are also an important piece. The branding decals should portray your product in the way your company wants to be viewed. Branding decals should be just as durable as your product.
